ÖLFLEX®

Connecting and control cables
World's first branded cable
Ever since Oskar Lapp invented the first industrially manufactured cable in 1957, the ÖLFLEX® brand has been synonymous with power and control cables. ÖLFLEX® stands for innovation, safety and durability in cable technology. Whether you need robust cables for harsh industrial environments or flexible solutions for dynamic applications, ÖLFLEX® delivers.
Properties that convince:
ÖLFLEX® cables are characterised by a number of features that make them an excellent choice for demanding applications:
- Flexible: ÖLFLEX® cables are flexible and make installation easier, even in complex environments.
- Largely oil-resistant: Many ÖLFLEX® cables are largely oil-resistant and therefore offer high reliability in industrial environments.
- Universally applicable: The cables can be used universally and are suitable for a wide range of applications.
- Meets the highest demands: ÖLFLEX® cables fulfil the highest demands in terms of electrical and mechanical properties.
- For almost any requirement: Whether wet or dry, EMC-protected, for outdoor or indoor use, for different temperature ranges - ÖLFLEX® offers solutions for almost any requirement or environmental condition.
- For fixed connection or cable chains: ÖLFLEX® cables are suitable for both fixed connection and use in cable chains.
- Also available halogen-free and with international approvals: ÖLFLEX® cables are also available halogen-free and with international approvals for special requirements.

Product categories
Cables for standard applications
For extremely versatile applications
e.g. ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 100 450/750 V
Our ÖLFLEX® power and control cables for standard applications provide outstanding services in many areas.
Due to their mostly application-independent properties, they can be used in many places. In this product group you will find an extensive selection of PVC sheathed cables with coloured or numbered cores - many of which are approved for international markets.
Servo and motor cable
For power supply and signal transmission in drive systems
e.g. ÖLFLEX® SERVO 719 CY
ÖLFLEX® SERVO cables are used as motor, servomotor and feedback cables for electric drives. The LAPP portfolio also includes hybrid cables, which use single-cable technology to provide both power supply and signal transmission, thus replacing encoder cables. Our products are designed for static installation or highly dynamic use in the cable chain. Discover countless designs and dimensions for all common systems from drive manufacturers.
Cable chain cables
For use in cable chains due to their highly flexible cable design
e.g. ÖLFLEX® CHAIN 809
LAPP Cable chain cables are energy and control cables for use in (highly) dynamic cable chains. Their properties are optimised for fatigue bending. The cables are available in various shielded or unshielded variants and are divided into 3 application-orientated performance classes ("Basic Line", "Core Line" and "Extended Line"). So you can find your product very quickly! Additional properties such as high resistance to oil, abrasion and weathering as well as UL/CSA certifications make many of them real all-rounders.
Cables for harsh conditions
Cables with increased mechanical and chemical resistance
e.g. ÖLFLEX® ROBUST 210
ÖLFLEX® power and control cables for harsh conditions have increased mechanical, chemical and usually also thermal resistance. Thanks to their robust sheath materials such as PUR, TPE or rubber, these cables are suitable for use outdoors, in mining, on construction sites, in food and beverage production, in tools or packaging machines. Their many beneficial properties, such as high oil, abrasion and weather resistance, make them ideal for industrial applications.
Solar cables
From large energy systems to single-family homes
e.g. H1Z2Z2-K, optimised version
LAPP Solar cables are connecting cables used in photovoltaic power generation. They connect solar modules and other electrical components of a photovoltaic system. LAPP Solar cables fulfil certain requirements, e.g. they are UV-resistant.
Robot and torsion cables
For dynamic bending and torsional stress in industrial robots
e.g. ÖLFLEX® ROBOT 900 DP
With these power and control cables, your gantry robots and articulated robots are ideally equipped for impressive performance. They are designed for simultaneous bending and twisting with torsion angles of up to +/- 360°. The cables are available in shielded and unshielded variants and optionally with UL/CSA certification for North America.
Cables for direct current applications
For setting up a direct current infrastructure for the low-voltage range
e.g. ÖLFLEX® DC GRID 100
With its DC cable portfolio, LAPP is paving the way for DC technology in Industry and supplying the essential components for setting up a DC infrastructure for the low-voltage range. DC cables have a different colour coding, a reduced number of cores and smaller conductor cross-sections.
