Rotary sensors

Encoders and inclination sensors

SIKO's rotary sensors cover a wide range of technical requirements. Whether contactless and wear-free, as an open PCB solution, as a heavy-duty or safety version, we provide the right solution for your applications. Rotary sensors are often used as a product solution for industrial drive technology and robotics as well as for mobile machines.

Bearingless encoders - MagLine
SIKO MagLine magnetic encoder technology has been used successfully for decades in the fields of angle measurement and speed measurement. The rotary magnetic encoders provide an attractive alternative to optical encoder systems. They measure wear-free, contact-free and are insensitive to dust, moisture, shock and vibration. The intelligent encoders are predestined for applications such as motor feedback, assembly and handling technology, and robotics.

Rotary encoders
SIKO provides a large selection of encoders from cost-effective incremental encoders to high-resolution absolute encoders with analog and fieldbus interfaces. They are available in industrial or heavy-duty versions. Encoders are frequently used when it comes to sensor solutions for mobile automation.

Inclinometers - easy tilt detection
SIKO's inclinometers (also called inclination sensors) measure the absolute tilt in relation to the center of the earth. These values are transferred to an upstream control system via RS232, CANopen or analog signals. Available as static or dynamic (IMU) sensors. Inclinometers are often used when it comes to angle monitoring in crane and lifting technology.

Measurement displays for linear encoders - MagLine
SIKO's measurement displays are used to show the measured values directly on a display and form a self-contained measuring system together with the magnetic encoders and scales. A popular area of application for our measurement displays with linear encoders has been in the field of woodworking machines.

Rotary scales - MagLine
MagLine scales are available as flexible magnetic rings that provide coded path information and angle information for the corresponding encoder. The scales are available in both incremental and absolute versions.
