Handling, Measurement, and Cutting Services
LAPP measures, cuts, and packs cables according to customer specifications.

A service fee is charged for deliveries where the ordered length of cables or wires differs from the factory’s standard delivery lengths (e.g., a full standard reel or coil: 100 / 500 / 1,000 m).

The handling, measurement, cutting, and rewinding of cables and wires into specific lengths are charged according to the following schedule:

• First length (coil or reel), measurement in Finland: €20.00
• Subsequent lengths from the same reel or coil, measurement in Finland: €5.00
• All measurements/cuts at the manufacturer’s warehouse (e.g., Germany): €20.00
• Rewinding or coiling without measurement in Finland: €20.00

Example 1: 
ÖLFLEX^® CLASSIC 110 3G1.5 stocked and cut in Finland,
lengths are measured from the same reel: 2 x 25 m + 35 m + 64 m.
Charge: €20.00 + 3 x €5.00 = €35.00.

Example 2: 
Cables and wires stocked and cut in Finland,
ÖLFLEX^® CLASSIC 110 3G1,5 measured 1 x 65 m, 
ÖLFLEX^® CLASSIC 110 CY 4G2,5 measured from the same reel 2 x 28 m ja
H07V-K 16 MUST measured from the same coil 10 x 12 m. 
Charge: 1 x 20,00 € + 1 x 20,00 € + 1 x 5,00 € + 1 x 20,00 € + 9 x 5,00 € = 110,00 €.

Example 3: 
ÖLFLEX^® CLASSIC 110 7G1,5 stocked in Germany, measured 2 x 65 m.
Charge: 2 x 20,00 € = 40,00 €.

The desired lengths to be measured must be clearly stated in meters at the time of ordering. Cables and wires measured and cut at LAPP's Hyvinkää warehouse have a +/- 10% length tolerance. Cables and wires measured and cut elsewhere than at LAPP's Hyvinkää warehouse have a +/- 10% length tolerance.

Special cable marking

Wire and cable markings can be made on behalf of the customers if needed. Additionally, cables and wires can be packed according to the customers' wishes. Marking and packaging services are priced by separate agreement or quotation.
