Wide range of tools and accessories for cable glands
The range of cable gland accessories at LAPP is enormous. With lock nuts, blanking plugs, seals, dust protection elements and much more, a cable gland can be easily customised and quickly become the perfect guide for you and your applications.
Lock nuts - for locking when using through bores
LAPP provides lock nuts made from plastic, metal and stainless steel. The lock nuts are available in metric, PG and NPT sizes.
Sealing inserts / dust protection elements - for protection against dust, dirt and foreign bodies
The sealing inserts/dust protection elements from LAPP prevent dust, dirt and foreign bodies from getting in until the corresponding cable gland is already fitted with a cable. We also offer multiple sealing inserts, slotted sealing inserts for assembled cables and sealing cones.
Blanking plugs - for secure closure
Blanking plugs are used to seal pre-threaded boreholes. They are available in plastic and metal variants.
Pressure compensation elements - breathable with membrane technology
The pressure compensation elements from LAPP are made from polyamide or stainless steel and have a special membrane that is air-permeable and waterproof. Pressure compensation elements act as a ventilation system for the housing and thus prevent the formation of condensation.
Reducers - make it possible to use smaller connection threads
The reducers make it possible to use cable glands with smaller connection threads than the existing threaded holes. They are available in plastic and metal variants.
Enlargers - enable use of bigger connection threads
Enlargers from LAPP are used whenever glands with larger connection threads need to be used in existing threaded boreholes in the housing. We offer enlargers made of polyamide and nickel-plated brass.
Adapters for cable glands - enables the connection of different thread types
Adapters enable the connection of different thread types. For example, the transition from a metric thread to a PG thread is made possible.
Sealing rings / washers - for reliable sealing
Sealing rings for cable glands provide reliable sealing of housings and protect against oils, acids and chemicals. The sealing rings are available for metric, NPT and PG cable glands.
Assembly tools - tools for assembling cable glands
The tools from LAPP allow you to safely and easily assemble SKINTOP® and SKINDICHT® cable glands. We also offer universal and metric assembly tools, including tools for drilling and cutting threads, torque wrenches and adjustable wrenches.
Earthing material - for SKINDICHT® cable glands
Earthing sleeves from LAPP are used to protect against interfering signals. The earthing sleeves are made of brass and are designed for the SKINDICHT® SHVE and SKINDICHT® SRE cable glands.
Cable ducts - for control cabinet construction
LAPP bushings are available as multiple and single cable ducts. They act as a protection against sharp and edged housing walls. The bushings are available with and without strain relief.
Collars for cable glands - hexagonal collar with rotating torsion element
The collars from LAPP can be rotated 360° and are made from nickel-plated brass. They are suitable for use with metric SILVYN® conduit glands. The collars are suitable for precise positioning of angled connection elements.
Add-Ons - upgrades a normal cable gland into an EMC cable gland
LAPP offers ADD-ONs for EMC protection. The SKINTOP® BRUSH ADD-ON is an uncomplicated EMC lock nut with cutting edges and a large-scale shield contact. It is an innovative EMC add-on for SKINTOP® ST(R)-M plastic cable glands.
Compression screws - for a reliable connection
Nickel-plated brass compression screws from LAPP are designed in accordance with EN 62444.
