Linear sensors

Magnetic and draw-wire encoders

Whether factory automation, drive technology or mobile machines, SIKO sensors always work reliably, precisely and durably under the most adverse conditions. The demand for sensors has increased significantly in recent years, because they can pass on their qualitative or quantitative measurements as an electrical signal.

Linear encoders - MagLine
SIKO's magnetic MagLine encoders are precise and wear-free. They are used successfully in many areas of mechanical engineering and are popular thanks to their reliability, simple handling and installation. The compact encoders are predestined for applications such as motor feedback, assembly and handling technology, and robotics.

Draw-wire and safety draw-wire encoders
SIKO's tried-and-tested draw-wire encoders are a robust solution for measuring linear positions and speeds. They are easy to install and reliable even under extreme environmental conditions. Mobile machines are a popular area of application, such as construction machinery or the crane and lifting technology.

Position sensors for hydraulic cylinders
SIKO's position sensors based on the proven draw-wire principle for demanding and safety-critical applications in the field of mobile hydraulics or the industrial use of hydraulic cylinders, telescopic cylinders or piston accumulators.

Measurement displays for linear encoders - MagLine
SIKO's measurement displays are used to show the measured values directly on a display and form a self-contained measuring system together with the magnetic encoders and scales. Specially developed for connection to passive MagLine magnetic sensors. Suitable measuring displays for every measuring method, weather incremental, absolute or quasi-absolute. A popular area of application for our measurement displays with linear encoders has been in the field of woodworking machines.

Linear scales - MagLine
SIKO's MagLine scales are flexible magnetic tapes that provide coded path information and angle information for the associated encoder. The magnetic tape is available in incremental or absolute versions and consists of a magnetized, i.e., magnetically coded, plastic tape that is connected to a steel tape as a carrier.
