Lead-free cable glands
As early as 2020, LAPP became the world’s first manufacturer to introduce lead-free brass cable glands. The lead-free cable glands fully match the performance and characteristics of conventional brass cable glands. The only difference is that they contain less than <0.1% Pb instead of the current 2–4%.
LAPP’s lead-free cable glands and their accessories can be identified by the “LF” (lead-free) marking. This means you can obtain familiar and popular products such as SKINTOP® MS‑M and MS‑SC‑M cable glands, as well as the SKINDICHT® SM‑M locknut, with the same performance characteristics also in lead-free versions. New additions to the range now also include lead-free versions of SKINDICHT® BL‑M blanking plugs, SKINDICHT® MR‑M reducers, SKINDICHT® ME‑M enlargers, SKINDICHT® MA‑PG/M adapters, and SKINDICHT® SM‑PE M EMC locknuts.
