Data cables

For guaranteed reliable data transmission
The transmitters and receivers of signals or messages are connected to one another via data cables. LAPP offers highly reliable data cables for Fieldbus and Ethernet systems so that machines, entire factories and office buildings can communicate with one another. Our industrial communication product range covers all of the most popular protocol standards such as PROFIBUS, CC-Link and CANopen, as well as PROFINET and Ethernet/IP. A wide selection of data cables is also available for telephone, coaxial and low-frequency applications.

Low-frequency data transmission cables - multi-purpose data cables
UNITRONIC® installation and data cables can be used for low-frequency data transmission. The cables are designed for fixed, flexible and highly flexible installation and are available in various colour codings, such as DIN. LAPP offers UL/CSA certified, halogen-free and low capacitance, low-frequency cables.

Telephone cable - for use in information and communication technology
The telephone cables from LAPP can be used in telephone systems, telephone stations and fire alarm systems. Telephone cables with DIN VDE 0815 approval can be installed in public buildings. Our telephone cables can be used outdoors and indoors.

Coaxial cables - for the transmission of high frequency signals
The RG (according to MIL-DTL 17 H) and RGB cables from LAPP can be used for high frequency data transmission. The coaxial cables are designed for fixed and limited flexible installation and can be used in enclosed rooms and outdoors at temperatures of up to -55°C to +250°C.

Fieldbus cable - support for all of the most popular Fieldbus systems
LAPP Fieldbus cables support all of the most popular Fieldbus systems, including: PROFIBUS® (DP and PA), CAN, DeviceNet, CC-Link®, AS-Interface, ISOBUS, Foundation Fieldbus and KNX®. The cables are designed for use indoors and outdoors, for extreme temperature ranges and for fixed, flexible and highly flexible installation.

Ethernet cable - for fast, robust and reliable data transmission
An Ethernet cable provides reliable data transmission when connecting devices in Ethernet networks. Depending on the application area, this involves several kilometres of cable length, which are exposed to the most adverse conditions in some locations. In the LAPP portfolio, you will find various Ethernet cable variants that cover almost all application areas in the industrial environment.

Fibre optic cables - for the fastest, fault-free data transmission, especially over long distances
Fibre optic cables as a transmission medium for optical signals are becoming increasingly popular when transmitting data in Ethernet networks. Depending on the application area and type of fibre optic cable, they achieve maximum speeds over long distances and, thanks to their expandability, are the perfect argument for sustainable networking. We will explain what fibre optic cables are, how they differ, and the advantages of using glass fibre cables.
