We offer you the opportunity to grow and develop in a team that is responsible for the busbar business as a whole (product management, sales, production, and field installation). The internship is paid, and the preferred start date is in June. You will work as part of the global LAPP Group, where family business values are combined with the opportunities of an international organization. The production unit is located in Hyvinkää, and the role requires on-site presence.

After the summer, there may be an opportunity to continue working part-time alongside your studies or to complete your thesis with us.

Who are we looking for?

You are a university student in electrical engineering who has completed basic studies and is currently pursuing advanced studies. You are interested in an internship in an office-based role within an electrical industry company.

Responsibilities:

  • Product management: development of product materials, product analyses, and optimization of product structures
  • Sales support: development of pricing tools and price lists, as well as competitor analyses
  • Other support and development tasks related to busbars

What we expect from you:

  • At least 2.5 years of higher education studies in electrical engineering (BSc or MSc)
  • A proactive, motivated, and engaged attitude toward working as part of a team
  • Availability to work full-time in Hyvinkää during summer 2026
  • Fluency in Finnish and English; Swedish is considered an advantage

Considered an asset:

  • Major in electrical engineering or electric power engineering
  • Previous work experience in the electrical field (e.g., electrician, design trainee, or similar roles)
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Ability to read electrical drawings (e.g., switchboards and building/industrial electrical systems) and skills in creating and handling drawings using design software
