New Cable glands

Sealing and strain relieving cable entry

When a cable meets the housing of a machine or a control cabinet, a cable gland is usually used. This makes it possible to insert cables into a housing and to securely seal cables and housings with different materials such as fluorine rubber, nitrile rubber, silicone or gel seals. In addition, cable glands provide strain relief for the cable. They protect the interior of the housing from harmful environmental influences such as dust and moisture. LAPP offers high-quality single entries and multi entries, as well as accessories and tools for assembling the cable glands.

For maximum process reliability when it counts: this cable gland combines minimal particle emission, microbial material protection and a white surface for quick contamination detection. It therefore sets standards in sensitive areas - ideal for clean rooms up to ISO class 1, dry rooms and the food and beverage industry.

SKINTOP® HEAT EMC / SKINTOP® HEAT EMC XL

Strong in the heat. Safe in EMC. This cable gland impresses with its exceptional heat resistance up to +200 °C thanks to the FKM sealing. The full-surface pressing protects the cable sheath and ensures reliable all-round sealing. A 360° brass brush ensures reliable EMC protection even after multiple installations. Can be ideally combined with ÖLFLEX® HEAT cables.

Important wherever safety is the top priority. The brass cable gland with halogen-free sealing and full-surface pressing forms a closed barrier against fire and smoke in the event of a fire. The 360° brass brush ensures reliable EMC protection - even after reassembly. Certified to EN 45545-2 (HL1-HL3) and EN 45545-3 (E30) and therefore ideal for fire protection closures.

ÖLFLEX® SERVO FD 797 CP

The new servo and motor cable enables up to 50% faster installation preparation thanks to the inner sheath material and the filler-free cable structure. The cable’s high weather resistance, wide temperature range, and suitability for drag chain use enable operation in demanding conditions. The cable is intended for connections of frequency converters and servo motors. The PUR outer sheath withstands high mechanical load, and the Class 6 conductors make the cable extremely flexible. The conductors have polypropylene insulation, and UV protection enables outdoor use in sunlight.

The solar power cable is designed for floating photovoltaic solutions and is TÜV Rheinland tested in accordance with standard 2 PfG 2962. The cable is moisture resistant and protected against salt spray, mold, and UV radiation. The conductors are tinned copper with cross-sectional areas of 2.5–300 mm², and the insulation is cross-linked XLPE. The outer sheath color options are black, red, and blue. The cable is suitable for fixed installations as well as occasionally moving, freely suspended installations, and it is halogen-free.

Ready to connect and time-saving

Our cables, which are already fitted with one or two connectors at the factory, streamline internal processes and meet the highest quality criteria thanks to LAPP's expertise. Cable assemblies are ready for immediate use and can be connected directly at the intended location. Various work steps such as stripping the cable, stripping the conductors, crimping the conductor or final connector assembly are no longer required. Due to standardized production steps, our various pre-assembled power and control cables and data cable assemblies always meet the same quality criteria.

EPIC® ClickConnect M12D

The highly flexible Ethernet CAT.5e patch cable is intended for data transmission in PROFINET networks as well as EtherCAT and Ethernet/IP applications. The cable features M12 push-pull connectors (D-coded) and SF/UTP shielding, making it suitable for moving applications. The cable complies with PROFINET Type B and is available in lengths of 1 m, 3 m, 5 m, 10 m, and 20 m. The PUR outer sheath and connectors withstand high mechanical stress, and the outer sheath is additionally resistant to mineral oil–based lubricants and chemicals.
